Get Involved

An investment in the children of Brigid Collins Family Support Center is an investment in a brighter future for us all. It’s an investment in the end of child abuse. An investment in a future that nurtures all its children. An investment in which every child has the family they deserve.

For gifts of stock, IRA rollovers or other opportunities, please contact Jenn Lockwood, Executive Director at jlockwood@brigidcollins.org.

Volunteer

We offer various volunteer opportunities and internships throughout the year. Get started by sending your resume and a cover letter expressing your interests and experiences to contact@brigidcollins.org. For more information about scheduling a group volunteer project, please give us a call at (360) 734-4616.

Because of the sensitive and confidential nature of our work background checks are mandatory. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Additionally, all volunteers are required to have completed Stewards of Children child abuse prevention training within the last 3 years or within a month of volunteering.

Group Tours

We want to get to know our community & highlight our role in community health!
If you are an employee at another local business or nonprofit, or a community member interested in learning more about the big blue and yellow building in Downtown Bellingham, please reach out to a member of our development team to set up a tour on a day that works best for you.

Tours typically do not last longer than an hour. Join us for refreshments, a short presentation on our work, and a tour of our Children’s Advocacy Center as we re-introduce Brigid Collins through the scope of our new mission.

Coordinating a successful fundraising event takes time! We encourage you to plan ahead, pick a date and time, and submit your event details to us in advance.

We want to support you, supporting us! Let us know about your event as early as possible so we can put it on our calendars too! If it is a public event, we will advertise it on our website and social media accounts.

We will also provide you with our logo and (if you’d like) a Brigid Collins representative to speak briefly (less than 30 mins) on behalf of our organization to tell guests more about what we do! Please let us know in advance so we are able to accommodate your request accordingly.
